Creating proposals in Quotify lets you send personalized offers to leads or customers with ease.
🛠 Step-by-Step: Create a New Proposal

From the main menu, go to Sales → Proposals.

Click the ➕ Create Proposal button (top left).

Choose who the proposal is for:

🔹 Related To: Select Lead or Customer

🔹 Select the specific lead or customer from the dropdown.

✅ Their information will auto-fill on the right side (you can still edit this).

Set the Status:
-
Draft
(not visible to customers) -
Open
(customer can view, accept, or decline)

Set the Open Till date:
-
This defines how long the customer has to take action.

You can set default due duration in Setup → Settings → Finance → Proposal.

Currency:
-
For leads, you can select any currency.
-
For customers, the system will use the customer’s currency.

Enable or disable Allow Comments:
-
If enabled, customers can reply or negotiate via comments.

Click Save to generate the proposal.
✍️ Adding Proposal Content
Once the proposal is saved, you’ll be redirected to the Proposal Preview Page, where you can edit its content.

The default content includes the merge field
{proposal_items}
— this auto-displays the list of items added to the proposal. -
To add more content:

Click inside the editor and begin typing.

No need to save — your content is auto-saved.

Optionally, press
CTRL + S
to save manually.

🧩 Use Merge Fields for Dynamic Content
Save time and ensure consistency by using Merge Fields:

Click Available Merge Fields to view and insert placeholders like:

{customer_name}

{proposal_items}

{proposal_to}

This is useful when duplicating templates across multiple proposals.
🔁 Copy a Proposal
Need to reuse an existing proposal?

Open the proposal.
-
Click More → Copy.
-
A duplicate will be created and ready to edit or send.
