To create a new task:

From the main menu, navigate to Tasks

Click the “New Task” button
📝 Task Fields & Options:

Subject – Enter a clear and descriptive name for the task

Hourly Rate – Define the rate if the task is billable
-
Start Date – The date the task becomes active
-
Due Date – The expected completion date
-
Priority – Choose from: Low, Medium, High, or Urgent

Repeat Every – Set this if the task should recur regularly
-
Related To – Link the task to a module like a project, customer, or invoice
-
Tags – Add keywords (e.g., bug, design, urgent) for easier filtering
-
Task Description – Provide detailed instructions or notes
Click Save to create the task.
👥 Assigning Users to the Task
Once the task is saved:

You can add Assignees (responsible users) and Followers (observers) from the right-hand section of the task modal

All assigned users and followers will receive:
-
Email notifications
-
In-app bell notifications
-
📧 You can customize these notifications under:
Setup → Email Templates
💬 Task Comments & Collaboration
Anyone with access to the task (creator, assignees, followers) can collaborate using the Comments feature.
To add a comment:

Open the task modal
-
Click on the Comments tab
-
Type in the comment box
-
(Optional) Attach files by dragging and dropping them into the upload area
