Quotify CRM allows you to set up unlimited tax rates that can be used across invoices, estimates, proposals, and other financial documents.
➕ How to Add a New Tax Rate
-
Go to Setup → Finance → Tax Rates.
-
Click ➕ New Tax (top left button).
-
Fill out the following:
-
Tax Name – e.g., "VAT", "Sales Tax"
-
Tax Rate – e.g.,
5
,12.5
(as percentage)
-
-
Click Save.
✅ Once saved, the tax rate will be available as a selectable option when adding items to invoices, estimates, or proposals.
⚠️ Note: If you update a tax rate that is already applied to items, it will not retroactively update existing transactions.
📦 Show or Hide Tax Per Item
By default, Quotify displays tax per line item in invoices and estimates.
You can disable this if you prefer to show a single total tax amount at the bottom instead.
🚫 To hide tax per item:
-
Go to Setup → Settings → Finance.
-
Find the option "Show TAX per item (Invoices/Estimates)".
-
Set it to NO.
📝 Even when disabled, you still need to assign taxes to items individually so the system can compute the correct total tax.
