New Customer

Adding a New Customer in Quotify CRM

To add a new customer in Quotify CRM, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your dashboard

  2. Click “Customers” from the left navigation

  3. Click the “New Customer” button located on the left side of the screen

Key Sections When Creating a Customer:

🔐 Permissions

Control what features the customer can access in their client portal.
For example, if the Support System is disabled, the customer will not see or use support tools. Features like email piping can be enabled if available.

📦 Billing & Shipping Information

These fields are used for generating invoices and estimates.
If your customer has a separate shipping address, make sure to populate the shipping fields. These will auto-fill when creating new invoices.

⚙️ Advanced Options

Additional fields like tags or custom identifiers may be included here for better customer segmentation and management.

🗂 Groups

Assign the customer to a group. Grouping helps you organize clients and run group-based reports, such as identifying your highest-value customer segments.

💱 Currency

Select the customer’s preferred currency.
If different from the system default, this currency will automatically apply when generating invoices or estimates.

Note: You cannot change the customer’s currency once transactions are recorded.

🌐 Language

If your Quotify CRM has multiple language options, you can set the customer's language preference.
When they log in, their interface will be translated according to your system’s language files.

By default, all PDFs generated from the admin side use the system’s default language.
To generate client PDFs in their selected language, go to:
Setup → Settings → Localization, and enable:
"Output client PDF documents from admin area in client language".

Final Steps

  • Fill in all necessary details

  • Click Save

  • Optionally, send a Welcome Email using the template under:
Settings → Email Templates → Clients

Your customer can now log in through:
